Dosage

The original Cialis is available with active ingredients of 5mg 10mg and 20mg.

Application

Take one tablet of the erectile stimulants about 25 to 60 minutes prior to the time when intercourse will be desired. Levitra is, in regard to its period of effectiveness, in between Viagra and Cialis and works for 8 to 12 hours. You must not exceed the maximum acceptable daily intake of 20 mg.

Effects

The active ingredient Vardenafil is a PDE-5 inhibitor and actively enhances penile blood flow. The PDE-5  (phosphodiesterase-5) is an enzyme found in the body that is responsible for the reduction of an erection. With erection disorders, the PDE-5 enzyme starts to work too early or with impotence, it may completely prevent an erection for forming. During its effective period of time, Vardenafil inhibits this enzyme and enables strong penile stiffening when faced with sexual arousal.

Contraindications

Under certain preconditions the effectiveness of Vardenafil can lead to severe complications.

You shall not take Levitra if you:

-          are currently being treated with other potency drugs

-          take certain drugs (refer to interactions)

-          suffer from severe cardiovascular diseases

-          complain about having low blood pressure

-          are vulnerable to priapism

-          haven’t yet reached legal age.

Side effects

Interactions

Consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice when taking Levitra may influence Vardenafil´s effectiveness and should absolutely be avoided. Similarly, heavy or fattening meals may mitigate or prevent the effectiveness of Levitra.
